HOW TO CREATE AN E-MAIL ACCOUNT
To create an e-mail account, you first need to be connected to the internet. The steps below can be used to create an e-mail account.
- Launch a web browser
- Type the address of an e-mail service provider into the address bar
- Click on create account or sigh up
- Fill the form with right information
- Submit the forms and follow the instructions to complete your account creation.
Examples of e-mail service provider include;
- G-mail
- Yahoo
- Hotmail
- Rocket mail

- Launch a web browser
- Type the address of your e-mail service provider into the address bar.
- Click on sign in
- Type your e-mail address into the address box
- Type your password into the password field
- Click on sign in

Logging out is also known as Signing out. This means locking your e-mail account to prevent unauthorized persons from accessing your e-mail account.
To log out from your e-mail account locate the sign out or log out tab and click on it. The location of the button depends on the email service provider, or the device used.

To compose a message means to create a message. Before an email communication can be possible, both sender and the recipient must have e-mail accounts. You can attach files to your e-mail message. An attachment refers to any file added to an e-mail message. An e-mail attachment can be in the form of a text document, audio file, video file, picture, and PDF file.

- Launch a web browser or an email messaging app.
- Log into your e-mail account
- Click on the compose tab
- Type the recipient address in the “To field”
- Write the heading of your message in the “subject box”
- Type the body of your message in the “Message box”
- Click on send

- Open a web browser
- Type the web address of your e-mail service provider
- Sign in by entering your e-mail address and password
- Click on inbox
- Double click on the title of message you want to read
